MedEdicus LLC is a dynamic, growing medical education company looking for an enthusiastic team member to participate in content-related aspects of the business, contributing to the successful implementation of CME/CE programs and submission of innovative educational solutions that close healthcare practitioner practice gaps. Content Development: Direct agenda/content development and faculty recruitment for active projects working with medical writers and editorial team members; some writing of content and practice assessment questions. Assess and work with faculty and peer reviewers to ensure content for high quality educational standards including scientific quality, fair balance, and achievement of objectives. Complete content-related components of accreditor applications.
Outcomes: Work with faculty and outcomes partners on projects to plan outcomes measurements, evaluate and complete reports, and submit/present reports to grantors.
Business Development: Participate in business development with Senior Management including 1) development of Needs Assessments by conducting research and managing appropriate resources for gap analysis; 2) identifying potential funding opportunities; 3) contributing to development of innovative educational solutions.
Faculty and Partner Relationships: Maintain current relationships and cultivate new relationships with faculty and partner organizations such as accreditors and societies.
CME Industry Standards: Keep abreast of CME standards, trends, and attend educational conferences
Effective Adult Education: Keep abreast of adult learning principles in general; work with outside consultants as necessary; incorporate principles in program content and formats.
Experience and Skills
5+ years’ experience in continuing medical education
Experience writing and reviewing medical and scientific projects for CME/CE and/or science-based education that are scientifically rigorous
Experience in developing a range of educational formats including web-based, print, live presentations and familiarity with the development process
Experience interacting with and leading faculty in achievement of programs that meet objectives and quality standards
Experience participating in business development/grant development activities
Familiarity with CME/CE industry requirements and regulations
Familiarity with adult learning principles
Ability to quickly learn new disease areas with their therapeutic management
Highly organized and focused
Ability to work collaboratively while working remotely
Proficient with Word, Referencing/Bibliographic Software, Power Point (ability to create simple charts), Adobe
Education and Training
Advanced degree in life sciences and/or clinical training
CHCP a plus, not required
